Producing is the work that makes every project possible. I’ve found that turning creative ambition into reality is no small feat—it requires balancing ingenuity with relentless problem-solving, often in the face of critical challenges. My recent work with Ibuki Films has reinforced that producing is not only among the most demanding aspects of filmmaking, but also its most crucial. It’s about building strong connections, navigating the unexpected, and ensuring every detail aligns to support a shared vision. For me, this is a deeply fulfilling practice, because, despite its challenges, it’s the essential engine that drives a project to success and I take pride in creating an environment where ideas aren’t just managed—they’re fully realized.

FMTA:
Utilities Not Included 2024
PSA | Co-Producer
Utilities Not Included is a PSA for FMTA that takes a darkly comedic look at the realities of renting in Toronto. Styled as a walkthrough of a rundown rental, the piece highlights issues like broken appliances, pest infestations, and sky-high prices—only to hit tenants with the final kicker: utilities not included.
By exaggerating all-too-familiar struggles, the PSA sheds light on the challenges renters face while underscoring the importance of knowing your rights in a city where fair housing feels harder to find than ever.
