Short Drama | Director
An evocative, dialogue-free exploration of perseverance and self-worth, Effortless tells the story of Eden, a young dancer striving to overcome her physical and emotional barriers. From concept to completion, I single-handedly wrote, storyboarded, cast, and directed the film, while also managing all technical aspects, including lighting, cinematography, and post-production editing.
Designed to convey deep emotion through visual storytelling, Effortless was praised for its cinematic impact and its ability to resonate with audiences on a visceral level, showcasing my ability to craft compelling narratives with precision and skill.
I Don't Like Gardening 2023

An official selection at the Toronto Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival, I Don’t Like Gardening is a poignant exploration of empathy and solidarity between women navigating personal and societal challenges. As director, I spearheaded a 30-person crew, overseeing all aspects of production from pre-production planning to post-production refinement.

I guided creative decisions on cinematography and sound design, collaborated closely with key departments, and coached actors to deliver deeply resonant performances. The film received high praise for its powerful storytelling and emotional impact, reflecting my ability to lead and execute ambitious creative projects.

Shot impromptu at Coin8 Studio in Toronto, Only the Strong Survive captures the raw emotion of Sam Drysdale’s performance in a stripped-down, intimate setting. With no formal pre-production, I took a dynamic, instinct-driven approach to directing, shaping each shot in real time to reflect the energy and vulnerability of the song.
